The spacious Beautiful Double Room featured great air-conditioning and a lovely shower. Enjoyed the character of the hotel, complemented by its proximity to vibrant local eateries and shops. The staff were always courteous and very helpful. Proximity to public transport was a bit lacking, requiring a 20-minute walk to the MRT station, and the restaurant could benefit from a more varied menu. A good choice for those who appreciate boutique charm over modern sterility.

The girls in the front desk were very nice and they helped us a lot, that is the only thing that really worth in The Sultan, and the location is nice, with a lot of eating options!
The service was ok but omg!!! The rooms were sooooo small and the breakfast soooooooooo bad... And everything was sooooo expensive!!!

The Standard Sultan room offers a good size for work and comfort, while the bathroom features a great pressure shower.
The soundproofing fails miserably. Wooden doors let you hear every noise from neighbors, including music and late-night antics. Hot water doesn't last long, and breakfast options lack appeal, prompting guests to explore nearby eateries instead.

Great location. Extremely clean. Close to fabulous eateries in Little India. Great new design. Small rooms buy very comfortable. Nice break from a hot busy city in a boutique hotel. Would stay again.
The staff were friendly enough but not particularly forthcoming with information about the area. I'd say that the staff were professional but not overly friendly,

Rooms could benefit from better soundproofing!!! The initial room cleanliness could improve with more thorough inspections!!! Hot water reliability could be a priority for guest comfort!!!

The units were brand-new and the staff were amazingly helpful people at the receptionist.

The hotel is new, modern, comfortable, well located, with several restaurants nearby with very cheap prices. The service at the hotel is excellent. I loved the espresso machine tiziano in the room.
The nearest mrt station (metro) is not very close to the hotel.

Friendly and very helpful staff.
The room is clean but a bit cramp in the one allocated to us.

The location is superb, close to Arab Street and Sultan Mosque. Unfortunately, the bathroom's size made it a bit cramped for moving around.

It's really clean. The amenities provided are better than some of the 5 star hotels in Singapore.
The location is a bit off beaten. Also, the fact that it is surrounded by food massage parlours that are dingy looking, doesn't make the place seem safe. It's quite near Golden Landmark, and there's a night club in that area. Not really safe for an 18 year old, so to speak. If you're going to use the MTR, use the Lavender one and not the Bugis one because it's near the housing area.

The Sultan is located in a nice and lively area of town that you can easily explore by walking around, and the heritage building makes for a great decor; the rooms are relatively small but cozy and clean. Although the hotel in itself is very beautiful, the one thing that really made a difference to me during my stay at this hotel was the friendliness of the staff, though - I was travelling on my own when I suddenly suffered a medical emergency in Singapore. When this happened, Alex and his colleagues supported me in every way they could. They helped me get the right medical care, brought me my luggage to hospital, and even offered me a room for free to rest for a few hours before flying back home several days later. I am forever grateful.

The dining at Sultan was a treat! The in-house French cuisine is fantastic, but don't miss the nearby eats-Toots Brasserie and The Ramen Stall are absolute gems. The staff celebrated my husband's birthday with a sweet surprise. That extra touch makes it feel special. Plus, the clean rooms and comfy beds keep you coming back for more!

Traditional Singapore white Shop House style building. Only 2 floor levels with open roof top bar with live music. Close to main direct bus routes into the tourist areas of the city and riverside Quays. Many street bars and restaurants around the hotel. Large self use laundrete nearby. Taxi fares to anywhere in the city and tourist areas were low price because close by. Covered taxi stand outside hotel. Many small shops outside hotel. Plenty of cheap street food bars all around the hotel. Next to Arab Quarter tourist area..
Early morning call to prayer from nearby Mosque heard in rear rooms. No swimming pool.

We have booked queen room for 4 nights, everything was really good, it had a mini-bar, an iron and an electronic key card. The location was particularly good and unbeatable for walking around Malay Heritage Centre Museum.
